Why teams look beyond Drata
Drata calls itself an agentic trust management platform. Compliance Automation and Enterprise GRC collect evidence and run control tests, and the Assurance Platform track lists a branded trust center with up to 100 approved domains and questionnaire assistance for 10 questionnaires on its Foundation plan. Drata launched a standalone TPRM product in September 2026 and says it serves more than 8,500 customers.
G2’s complaint themes for Drata, drawn from its reviews, are limited integrations (43 mentions), integration issues (38), improvements needed (35), lack of clarity (28) and UX improvement (22). A September 2026 review rated 0 out of 5 says “most interactions are now handled by AI agents that provide repetitive and often unhelpful responses.” Drata says its assistant is the first point of contact, with a human on request.
Customer support is also the largest praise theme on the same G2 summary, at 135 mentions. The 0 out of 5 review is one reviewer’s account.
Support models differ. Drata offers chat and ticket support 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Sprinto’s Growth plan adds 24x5 priority email support and a dedicated customer success manager. Secureframe publishes a 49 minute median email response. Scrut lists implementation managers.
Price is the other pressure point. drata.com prints no dollar figure, and custom frameworks are an add-on on both the Advanced and Enterprise plans. Its AWS Marketplace listings show $15,000 a year for 1 to 50 employees and $32,500 for 100 employees with one framework.

How we ranked these
Alternatives rank by weighted total on the rubric. The criteria run in priority order by weight: automated evidence (20 points), framework coverage and audit path (15 each), then pricing transparency, trust and questionnaires, vendor risk management, customisation and user sentiment (10 each). Only prices on a vendor’s website count toward pricing transparency, so AWS Marketplace figures earn no points.
Drata’s 76 sits on the same scale, and Drata is the subject of the page with no entry. A capability counts when the vendor lists it on any plan or add-on. Scores as of 11 October 2026.

Secureframe earns 2 of 5 there, with the advanced third-party module on the Complete plan, and Drata earns 4. Secureframe publishes a 49 minute median email response and a 30 second live chat response.
